Specialists of the South, Inc. is a designated Restoration Center for Northwest Florida. The criteria for selection includes the length of time that a company has been in business and also considerations for the quality of the work that is provided by the company. The Specialists of the South have been in operation since 1976 and have been doing business at the same location since 1982. Each department at the Specialists of the South has employees that are specifically selected for their expert knowledge and steadfast commitment to quality.

It All Starts With Our Personnel

Currently, our expert upholsterer has over 30 years in the industry. Some of the high points in his career include providing upholstery work for three Presidents of the United States.

Our refinish and repair overseer brings a lifelong love of the industry to his work. His training includes seminars with Mohawk and with the wood conservators at The Smithsonian Institute. As a graduate engineer, he has a view to solving problems that can encompass the whole gamut of the issue.

The insurance claims professionals at the Specialists of the South are trained to meet the needs of both individuals and moving companies. The Specialists of the South is a long time member of the moving industry’s Claims Prevention and Procedure Council (CPPC). The Specialists of the South have two trained personal property appraisers with the International Society of Appraisers. They are each certified in Appreciable Residential Contents.
