Our process starts with us performing an inventory of the sale items and making all arrangements for the advertising of the auction. This includes notifying our extensive database of email addresses of the upcoming sale. We also provide the public a preview of the items before the auction.
To ensure the auction runs smoothly, we staff our auctions with our permanent staff, which allows us to handle the sale with a minimum of disruption for all concerned. Security is always a top priority as well. We work hand in hand with the law enforcement agencies in the jurisdiction where we are holding the auction. We use a computerized program that allows us to section off the sale into groups if you require. A sale catalog can also be generated from this computerized inventory. Detailed reports issued after the auction are clear and concise containing the sales price of each item sold.
We have the staff and procedures to keep track of all the equipment down to the smallest level required. One of our appraisers on staff is tested in machinery and equipment and two of our appraisers on staff are trained in the appraisal and liquidation of restaurant equipment.
