Q1. I would like to know about your upcoming sales. Can you notify me?

Certainly. Please send us your email address, using our contact form, and we will add you to our database of people that we send a flyer before the sale so that you will know the items that will be offered. Frequently, a catalog is available before the sale.

Q2. I have never been to an auction. Can you tell me what to expect?

The terms of the sale will be posted at the auction site. You can read through these terms when you attend the preview, which is usually held just before the auction. The auctioneer will go over important points in his opening remarks before the auction starts. And, don’t be afraid to ask questions.

You must register and receive a bid number. If you see an item you want, hold up your bid card making sure that the auctioneer is aware of your bid.

Q3. If I want you to hold a sale for me, what do I do?

Contact us and we will arrange to meet with you and go over the best method of sale for you.

Q4. How much do I need to do to make things ready for a sale?

We will arrange and display the items for sale. We do not expect our clients to do anything to prepare the sale site.

Q5. I just have one or two items I want to sell. Can you help me?

Yes. Frequently, we can combine your item(s) with those from another sale.

Q6. If I decide to sell my items, will I receive a list of them and what they sold for?

Yes. A computerized inventory is prepared with the items in the sale. Sellers are provided a list of their items and what they sold for after the conclusion of the sale.

Q7. I think I may have an item that is quite valuable. I feel this area may not be the best place to sell the item? What do you suggest?

We broker many items outside our immediate area and can help you with such a sale.

Q8. I have some furniture that I want to sell but it is not in the best shape. Can you help me?

Yes. The Specialists of the South can repair and deluxe furniture so that it is presentable and will bring more in the market place.

Q9. I have old newspapers, letters, stamps and coins. Can you sell these for me?

Yes. We found that the surrounding areas are excited about these types of items.

Q10. Do you sell the contents of businesses?

Yes. We would handle it just as we would an estate sale providing an inventory and summary reports.
